Formex is a good example of why I prefer to buy watches from independent brands. The first Formex I got was the Essence 39, which thanks to its unique case structure is one of the most comfortable watches I own as well as a great looking watch. After such a great experience with the Essence I bought the limited edition Field Ti with an Earth Blue dial and was impressed again. Then I started to look into Formex a bit more and went with the white dialed Reef GMT and remain happy.
